2015 GEMS Annual Leadership Conference

Plans are underway for the 2015 GEMS Annual Leadership Conference! This is the first time the conference has been held in the north east!

The Annual Leadership Conference provides:

· an uplifting, spiritual growth experience for all who attend. 

· opportunities for counselors to develop and strengthen their skills in working with and mentoring girls in their clubs.

· personal growth opportunities for counselors. Recognizing that a counselors' personal growth will enhance her ability as a counselor of girls, Conference workshops include a variety of topics.

· cross-cultural opportunities for counselors to develop enduring friendships with other women of faith.

The 2015 GEMS Annual Leadership Conference will be held at Messiah College outside of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania July 9 - 12, 2015. 

· Pray for women to attend - especially local women who have never
attended a GEMS conference before.

· Pray for the speakers who are preparing message that will challenge and inspire.

· Pray that we will raise the needed funds.  We currently have a need for a donor(s) to cover speaker costs ($2,500).

· Pray for the 6 women serving as the Local Conference Committee: Amy Brooks, Cheri Jefferson, Sherrie Kuiken, Laura Saloiye, Anita Van der Merwe, Judy Vander Ploeg

· Pray that we will get the needed volunteers for our fundraising dinner and for the conference itself.
